New Update: The parties have settled the lawsuit out of court. The parties are not discussing the terms of the settlement agreement. CBS News is reporting that "Long paid off the four young men who accused him of using his power to influence them into sexual relationships with him". http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-50...

Bishop Long did not discuss the case or the settlement agreement during Sunday's sermon. http://www.christianpost.com/n...

And the plaintiffs' attorney has said "I will not discuss the settlement now or in the future". Several people have speculated about this settlement will impact the church. i heard the smiths paid Grasso millions to go away because they knew they would loose if he sued them. Hey Super business attorney Sharmil, why dont you update your readers on that status of the smiths case..... And Pamela... "other projects are under investigation" you say? like what projects? under investigation by whom? you have no idea what you are talking about. 245 tenth avenue was taken out of foreclosure by grasso and he settled with that bank i heard. partner is using business account for personal use and has also electronicly deposited money in company name into personal account. i am 40% owner he is 60% owner, i got loans to start up and business would pay them back and i wold receive compensation for this, well loan still being paid but no comp. and he is still payin himself, also took a title loan on a company truck and paid himself. What should i do as don want to be involved because of the tax nightmare he is creating, and i would like to get my loan paid off quicker then the minimum payments. trucks were to be used as collateral for loans(agreement throug lawyer) but they arent worth loan payoff. Can i hold him personaly responsible since he is using business accoun for personal use.?

At final you observe when once the final judgement and costs of collecting the judgement are paid, you will need to file a Satisfaction of Judgement with the court so that the judgement is no longer officially outstanding.

Thanks Sharmil. I would also note that Mr. David Grasso is a highly sophisticated businessman who clearly knew what he was doing and the risks involved. I doubt the Smith’s convinced him to do anything. I have heard that he courted them for months, desperately wanting to produce the project and become a “player” in Hollywood. In addition he has an insidious reputation in his day job as a real estate developer. He is currently in foreclosure by Citibank on his latest development in NYC “245 10th Ave” and other projects are under investigation.

In my career as a business lawyer in a Canadian law firm (Ottawa, Ontario), charitable organizations are seldom scrutinized by others due to the nature of the organization, but others think that some of these institutions are just a ploy of formal business organizations to evade paying taxes to the government. I hope that an injury lawyer (Ottawa) in our law firm who works for this so-called charitable organizations would discover and solve this scenario.

Anything is possible indeed. For other users out there, careful when you buy a domain name, check it first to see how old it is, the owner and it's availability. Don't get tricked.
